My little sister is getting married!
I am her MOH! and she is my little seestor and she is getting married!
I am so proud of her!
She is kind, she is smart and she is caring!
Reality set in this past weekend as we held her Bridal shower at our Moms home. We had a big guest list and a brunch in mind! We didn’t want to spend a ton of money but we wanted something creative! I love, love love the movie Breakfast at Tiffany’s, so I used it as the theme! We called her shower ” Breakfast with Lynnie” . Instead of the signature Tiffany blue we used purple (that’s her wedding color).
From there the idea was to use almost all purple food…but….I got busy and went out of town and she isn’t paying me so she got what I had time to do and it turned out beautifully!
We used vases from her wedding and dishes I had on hand! I took frames from my walls and trays from our mom! You do not need a huge budget to throw a great party! Use things already in your home! I spent about $50.00 at hobby lobby on paper to make my own food signs and bought a few fun ornaments from the holiday section to use as decor!

The mimosa bar was a huge hit as you may have guessed!
Notice that amazing frame! Thrift store find! It is also from my wall! I prefer thrifty I am not cheap! Not usually anyway!
I liked the idea of the chalkboard signs but I didn’t like my own handwriting or the fact that it rubbed off so easily!
You know I had to get my card in there at some point! Sorry for the glare! I plan events, I am not a photographer!
